Description

Expand your BloomSky Sky1 or Sky2 Weather Station with the BloomSky STORM module. The STORM 4-in-1 wireless module measures real-time rainfall, wind speed, wind direction and UV. The outdoor sensor collects and transmits weather data to the indoor dongle by SUB1GHz wireless communication. The indoor dongle connects directly to a router or modem via an Ethernet cable and transmits the collected data to the BloomSky cloud. The BoomSky STORM data may be viewed from any computer using a web-browser or from any tablet or smartphone device using the available downloadable App. The outdoor sensor is powered by the included rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The battery may be charged with either the included solar panel or USB cable that connects to the indoor dongle. Stay abreast of the latest weather conditions with the optional push alert notifications to a mobile device. Share and save weather data via the available App with family, friends and other BloomSky followers.

SPECIFICATIONS

The BloomSky STORM contains sensors for wind speed, wind direction, rainfall and UV. The device is made up of two separate elements – the outdoor sensor and the indoor unit. The outdoor sensor collects and transmits weather data to the indoor unit by SUB1GHz wireless communication (Ex: 908 MHz for US or 868 MHz for Europe). The indoor unit connects directly to the router or modem via an ethernet cable and transmits the collected data to the BloomSky cloud.
