PETALING JAYA: An employee from Malindo Air was injured when lightning struck a baggage trolley that the man was handling at Subang airport here.
When contacted, Malindo Air chief executive officer Chandran Rama Muthy said the incident occurred when a lightning struck their baggage trolley at about 3pm on Thursday.
“Our staff who was handling that trolley had a secondary strike,” he said adding that the incident occurred just before there was heavy rain at the airport.
Chandran said that after receiving medical attention, the man was in stable condition.
It is learnt that the man was sent to the Sungai Buloh Hospital for treatment.
